Mt. Gay Extra Old Rum

Very excited to just get in Mt. Gay’s best old rum they make.  If you didn’t know, Mt. Gay is the world’s oldest rum producer and they are one of the best!  From their distillery in Barbados they produce this unique rum that shows a lot of the deep, dark mollasses characteristics you would ecpect, but it is drier than either Zaya or Ron Zacapa.  However, I find it to be more complex than the Zacapa.  Try it neat or with a couple of ice cubes in a scotch or cognac glass.  I think I will have some tonight with a good cigar out on my patio.  Great stuff in the summer heat!
