The time is nearing folks, for one of America’s best wine festivals, Sante’ South.  This will be the best year in the nine-year history of the festival with 40 wineries from all over the world here showing their stuff!  What makes this event special?

For starters it is a winemaker’s festival meaning the wines will be poured by the guy or gal who make them or by the owner of the winery.  Sometimes that’s the same person.  Second, the average retail price of a bottle of wine tasted at Sante’ South is nearly $40!  That means Jackson area wine lovers will be treated to some really fantastic (and expensive) wines by some real superstars of the wine industry.  Great wines, great food from some of Mississippi’s best restaurants and about 1,000 wine lovers from all over the Deep South.  For tickets or more info visit

Some of the headliners:

Plumpjack, Cade, Saddleback Cellars, Carter, Miner Family, Roessler, Loring, Siduri, Bergstrom, Domaine Serene, Au Bon Climat, Andrew Will, Fiddlehead Cellars, Landmark, Robert Keenan, Thomas Fogarty, JC Cellars, Pedroncelli, and King Estate to name a few American wineries.

Also, Aresti from Chile, Altivo from Argentina, Louis Guntrum, Dr. Hermann, and Von Schleinitz from Germany, A.A. Badenhorst and Vin d’Orrance from South Africa, Alexandre Sirech from Bordeaux, Vega Moragona, Cellars Malondro, Monte Vicor and Cusine Family all from Spain!
